Sandy is about twenty-two minutes south of the suite. That is the drive most people overestimate before they make it once.
Two routes work. I-15 north is the fast version and the right call after five, because the heavy evening flow is running the other direction, out of the city toward you. The surface option is State Street itself, which continues from Sandy up through Midvale and Murray and lands you at the door. State is slower and full of lights, but it never seizes up the way a freeway does when something goes wrong, so it is the better bet at rush hour if nobody is in a hurry.
Twenty-two minutes each way means the round trip costs about three quarters of an hour on top of the session. Plan around that rather than pretending it away. A 90 minute booking becomes roughly a two and a half hour evening door to door. That is the real number to give whoever is watching your kids.
Why come north at all deserves a straight answer, because Sandy is not short of places to get a massage. You are not driving for a claim about quality. You are driving for one specific setup, which is a private room holding two tables, a licensed therapist on each, and a spa whose doors stay open until ten at night every day of the year. If a single massage close to home is what you want, book a single massage close to home. Getting two of you in the same room at the same hour is the narrower thing to find.
The timing that works best from Sandy is an early evening weekday slot. Leaving around six puts you on the table by seven and back down the valley by nine thirty without hitting a bad stretch anywhere. Saturday afternoon is the opposite, and it is also the hardest slot to get, so that one gets booked well ahead or not at all.
One more note about timing from here. School pickup and the afternoon rush through the south end of the valley put far more cars on the road between three and six than the distance suggests. A two o'clock booking and a six o'clock booking are genuinely different drives even though the mileage is identical, so pick the hour with that in mind rather than assuming twenty-two minutes holds all day.
Since the drive is happening anyway, many Sandy couples build an evening around it instead of turning straight back. Dinner in the city before or after adds twenty minutes of driving and converts an appointment into a night out.
An hour in the suite starts at $165. Extras such as hot stones or a half hour in the infrared sauna get attached at booking, and the two of you do not have to take the same ones.
Call (801) 839-8880 before you set out. Same-day often works, but confirming beats making the drive on an assumption.
