Couples Massage for Park City Visitors

We are not in Park City. We are the downtown Salt Lake option, about 35 minutes down I-80, with a private two-table suite and a 10pm close.

Start with the part that decides everything: we are not in Park City. The suite is downtown, at 1136 S State Street in Salt Lake City, and the run from Old Town takes roughly thirty-five minutes on I-80 through Parley's Canyon. That drive is the trade this page is about, and it deserves to be named before anything else.

Whether the trade is worth making depends on which situation you are in.

If you are up for a week, the resort spa has an opening, and the opening suits you, take it. Seventy minutes of round-trip driving is a real bite out of a vacation day, and nobody should spend it in a rental car for the sake of a marginally different table.

The trip earns itself in three cases. The first is a full mountain calendar, which happens across every holiday week and most Saturdays in February. The second is wanting a room built for two rather than two appointments scheduled near each other, which is a distinction worth confirming wherever you book. The third is timing. Our doors do not close until ten at night, and that holds on all seven days. Coming off the hill at four, eating in town at six and getting on a table at eight is an evening that many places simply cannot fit.

The canyon deserves respect rather than fear in winter. I-80 over Parley's Summit is a maintained interstate, not a road to a ski area, and it handles most of what a Utah winter produces. It also slows badly on the worst days and it closes occasionally. If the forecast turns before your appointment, call and move it instead of driving it. There is no fee for a change made with a day in hand, and nothing about this evening improves with a white-knuckle descent.

Altitude is the other detail particular to guests coming from up there. You have been sleeping thousands of feet above the valley floor, and most people find the lower elevation easy rather than taxing. The air is dry at both heights, so drink more water than seems necessary on the day either way.

What the booking actually holds is one private room with two tables, a licensed Utah therapist for each of you, and a session that starts and ends at the same moment for both. Sixty minutes is $165 and that figure is for the two of you together, not each. Ninety minutes is $245. Two hours is $325. Add-ons are chosen per person, so one of you can take hot stones while the other keeps it plain. Parking sits on site, which registers as a small mercy after a week of resort lots.

Book ahead when your dates are fixed. Holding two therapists at one hour on a ski-season Saturday is not something to leave until that afternoon, and holiday weeks go first.

Call (801) 839-8880. The desk can tell you inside a minute whether the hour you want is open, and it is a shorter conversation than the drive.
